Expo is the short term for Exposition or Universal Expositions held in one city with several participants from all over the world. The main attractions on these exhibitions are the pavilions of different nations with their typical architecture, design and products.
The first known international expo was held in London Hyde Park in 1851 with Queen Victoria in the opening.
These organizations became organised and started to be approved and controlled by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in 1928.
