Euro is the official currency in Italy. Credit cards are accepted by almost all the shops, hotels and restaurants around Milan.

Post Office in Milan:
Stamps could be obtained from the post offices or tobacconists displaying white T sign on a dark background. Post Boxes are red and marked as Poste or Lettere. The main post office is open between 8am to 7pm from Monday to Friday and on Saturdays between 8:30am and 12pm. There's another post office at the Stazione Centrale which is open between 8am to 7pm from Monday to Friday and between 8:30am to 12pm on Saturdays.

- Post offices are open between 08:30am and 13:50 from Monday to Friday and on Saturdays between 8am to 12pm. The main office is open during lunch time and closes at 7pm.
