Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci lived between 1452 and 1519.
This great Italian artist was born on 15th April, 1452 in Tuscan, Vinci. Little is known about his childhood. His later days passed in Rome. Highly documented as a exceptional man - with skills of a scientist, inventor, painter, biologist, engineer, zoologist, geologist and a spectacular human; his fame reached the point of pinnacle as an artist.
He was an Italian scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician and writer.
Leonardo da Vinci was the illegitimate son of a notary, Piero da Vinci, and a peasant woman, Caterina. He was born in Vinci in the region of Florence.
Much of his earlier working life was in the service of Ludovico il Moro in Milan. He also worked in Rome, Bologna and Venice and France.
