Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Expo 2015 signed a Memorandum for the nutrition and fight against world hunger. It is signed by the Mayor of Milan Letizia Moratti and the government commissioner for Expo 2015 and also Lucio Stanca, CEO of Expo 2015 and Jacques Diouf, FAO’s General Director. So now there are two new large partners in Expo; first is the FAO in one hand and second are private citizens on the other hand.
During the subsequent years their contribution will help enrich and develop a concrete way to become the premise of the Universal Exposition.
