If you have a few hours in Milan then you need to be quick to be able to see as much as you can. There are a few options you may choose from for half day walking tour. Your choice may depend on your location or on the places you’d like to see the most.

Start with Via Montenapoleone for shopping and rest at cafés.
At the end turn left and walk through Piazza San Babila towards left into Corso Venezia.
Turn left to Via Spiga for more shops and walk to the Museo di Milano.
Pass Via Gesu towards Via Santo Spirito for the Museo Bagatti Valsecchi and the end of the street takes you to the Archi di Porta Nuova.
Walk towards right to Piazza Cavour and to Via Palestro where the Villa Belgiojoso Bonaparte is located. Opposite there situated the Giardini Pubblici.
Within the park there are museums, cinema and Planetarium where you can exit for the Porta Venezia metro.
  Start with the Piazza del Duomo, walk towards right and turn right to Via Palazzo Reale.
Walk through Palazzo Reale and Palazzo Arcivecovile and turn left at the end of Via delle Ore.
Walk to Piazza Fontana and then to Piazza del Duomo.
From Galleria Vittorio turn right to Piazza della Scala. From Palazzo Marino turn right and walk towards to the Piazza San Fedele.
Leave the piazza from where you enter and towards to Casa degli Omenoni through the church.
In Piazza Belgioioso you will see the Museo Manzoniano. Walk to Via Manzoni where Museo Poldi Pezzoli is located.
Walk back to Piazza della Scala through La Scala towards Via Santa Margherita and to Piazza Mercanti which takes you to the Duomo.
  Start with the clock tower at the Castello Sforzesco.
Turn your back to the castle and towards right walk to Via Minghetti and cross Piazzale Codorna into Via Carducci.
Walk towards Corso Magenta, then go right from Corso Magenta to Santa Maria delle Grazie where you will see Da Vinci’s Last Supper.
Across the piazza pass the church and turn to Via Ruffini then right to Piazza Italia towards to Via Saffi. At the end of the road turn left to Viale Pe M Curie to enter Parco Sempione.
Enter the gate through the Palazzo dell’Arte and the Torre Branca. Turning right inside the park takes you to the castle and left to Arco della Pace, east to Arena Civico and the Acquario. From Acquario exit to Via Gadio and cross into Via Bonaparte, from the second left to Via Erbe. Cross Mercato Vetero to the Brera region.
  Start with the Museo Nazionale della Scienza. From the museum turn right towards Via Carducci to reach Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio.
Follow the way to Piazza Sant’Ambrogio to reach the Catholic University.
Walk to Via Necchi towards Via San Pio V and then turn left for Via Lazone and Via Circo where you will see the remains of the Circo Romano. Go back to Via Lazone to reach Via Torchio. Pass through Lago Carrobbio then take the second right to Corso di Porta Ticinese.
Follow the road to San Lorenzo Maggiore and the Antica Porta Ticinese. Follow the way from the first left to the small park where you will see the Museo Diocesano and Sant’Eustorgio. Exit here to go back to Corso Ticinese and then walk towards Piazzale XXIV Maggio and to the Navigli region.
